I apply multi-disciplinary approach to resolve a scientific question, and integrate some interrelated sub-areas of geology such as geochemistry, geophysics and geospatial data. My primary research interests are-

• Application of paleomagnetism and rock magnetism to fold-thrust belt kinematics.

• High-resolution timescale through magnetostratigraphy.

• (Paleo-) Environmental magnetism and paleoclimatic reconstruction.

• Soil magnetism and application of iron oxides as a proxy for pollutant tracing.

• Magnetic fabric analysis in deformed rocks and in prehistoric earthquake zones.

• Ultrafine age determination of ferromanganese crusts and paleoceanographic reconstruction 

• Sedimentary provenance analysis and heavy mineral chemistry.
