Hi, My name is Ziaul Haque. I am a geoscientist and within the board category of geoscience my primary expertise is in the paleomagnetism and rock-magnetism, basin analysis, tectonics, sedimentary geology, geological field mapping and GIS. I primarily work on sedimentary records and utilizes its constituent materials for source to sink determination and sediment dispersal routing; magnetic minerals and their paleomagnetic signatures to construct high-resolution magnetochronology; rock-magnetic properties for (paleo-) environmental study; and magnetofabric in deformed rocks to understand regional stress field, fault-kinematics, and prehistoric earthquake mechanism.
Currently I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geosciences, at the University of Texas at Dallas.
